Reflecting on my 18 years in banking, two people stand out—two incredible women who became my unofficial mentors. I never told them outright, but they were my guiding lights. I’d ask them questions, soaking up their advice like a sponge.

Looking back, I realize how much they believed in me before I believed in myself. I was young and figuring out life. They saw something in me—potential, maybe even promise—and set the bar high. I aspired to rise to their level.

These women didn’t just guide me in my career; they shaped who I was becoming. I’m so glad I have photos of them because they remind me of the gift they gave me: their time, wisdom, and belief.
